The world today is facing polarization and contradictions in every domain.

Expanding inequality, sustainability versus mass consumption, regulations surrounding freedom of expression, climate change, AI-driven disinformation, and the resulting peer pressure on social media.

The stronger the forces trying to maintain order, the more the world creates a "halation" effect.

Amidst this, SEVESKIG champions "≠ (not equal)." Halation ↔︎ SEVESKIG ≠ Conservative → Conserve — things that remain in the world, things to be left behind. What SEVESKIG defines as "Conserve" is not merely "conservative."

Returning to the etymology of "con (together)" + "servare (to protect/preserve)," it is a redesigned structure for preserving the individual and passing it on to the future.

This includes not only tangible items like clothing, but also the few remaining artisans, factories, techniques, and the spirit inherent in craftsmanship in Japan. Its seemingly conservative appearance transforms into an intentional "≠" for preserving "individual moments" in an unstable era.

While rejecting "Conservative," it creates things that remain in the world as "Conserve."
