NORI collects fragments of travel, scenery, and culture and transforms them into clothing.
NORI, the designer at SEVESKIG, is a rare creator who transforms fragments he encounters in his daily life and travels into clothing.
He has consistently traveled both domestically and internationally, visiting the sites of artisans and materials, and sharing the scenery and conversations he has had in the process.
Cultural experiences are accumulated like records, and these are eventually incorporated into the details of fabric, leather, and metal.
The clothes are sublimated into something that exists as "real" rather than exaggerated. Based on the functionality of leather, military and workwear,
The style that naturally blends cultures such as music, movies, and anime is one of a kind.
Creating clothes that are an integral part of everyday life is at the core of his creations.
Here we will unravel NORI's trajectory and philosophy.
NORI | SEVESKIG Designer
Since launching the brand in 2012, NORI has always pursued "real clothes rooted in everyday life."
His clothing is characterized by its faithfulness to the texture and functionality of the materials, while also incorporating inspiration from culture. He combines traditional materials such as leather and fabric with a variety of elements such as music, film, and anime,
We draw new value from this. We visit domestic tanneries and sewing factories, and after talking with artisans, our clothes are completed.
Rather than looking flashy, NORI values the reality of clothes fitting the body as they are worn over time.
They are not merely decorative items, but something that supports us daily and grows over time.

ROOTS
NORI was born in Oita City and spent his childhood there.
I have been exposed to skateboarding, music, movies, and animation since I was young.
The cultural impact became a solid foundation for him and awakened his passion for creating clothes.
The atmosphere on the street, the sounds reverberating in the club, the time engraved in the damage of old clothes...
These are not just memories, but continue to fuel NORI's creativity.
In 2012, he launched SEVESKIG, aiming to reconstruct the culture that had influenced him through the medium of "clothing."
It was to be handed over to the next generation.

My Essentials 1 | Motorcycles
It's not just clothes that make a designer. We unravel the "essentials" that support NORI's life and creations.
When talking about NORI, there is one thing that we cannot help but mention first.
It is the bike that has continued to support his creative work and daily life.
The HONDA CBX1000 and GL500 are symbols of NORI's lifestyle. They accompany him from daily commuting to traveling in search of materials.
It continues to be an indispensable companion in his creations. Among them, the GL500 won first place in the public vote at the "Bike Build Off"
The story itself reflects the brand's stance. The scenery and encounters that the brand has had while running are naturally incorporated into the clothing.
It gives the collection a unique realism.

My Essentials 2 | Subculture
Another axis that shapes NORI is the subculture that it has always been close to.
His deep love for animation is an essential element in discussing his creative activities.
The world of anime, which NORI has been familiar with since he was a child, has become more than just a hobby; it has become a source of expression.
The sensibility cultivated by experiencing the character designs and passion of the stories naturally resides in the details and graphics of SEVESKIG's clothing. And it is this love that has led to collaborations with numerous anime works. Products born from dialogue based on respect not only move the hearts of fans,
It also plays a role in passing on culture in the form of clothing.

WORKS|Special Order Leather
At SEVESKIG, there are special orders that you can't experience anywhere else.
This is a special order in which the designer NORI himself will sew the entire garment himself.
Sewing, which is normally divided among multiple craftsmen in normal production, is not done at all for this order.
NORI himself is responsible for cutting the leather, threading the needle, and the final finishing touches. The tension and fluctuation of the stitches, created by the designer continually operating the sewing machine, creates a unique look that is unlike any other.
Although it is clothing, it has the presence of a work of art, and over time it will become familiar to the wearer and carve out a history unique to its owner. For SEVESKIG, this special order embodies the brand's stance of viewing design and craft as one and the same.
