WILD DEER LEATHER
WILD DEER LEATHER
This leather is made from Ezo deer caught during pest control in Hokkaido, tanned with natural vegetable tannins, and finished with pull-up processing and wax.
It is characterized by its natural core strength and transparency.
Because it has been thoroughly oiled, the areas that stretch are light in color and the areas that do not move are darker in color, giving the leather a sense of shadow and transparency.
The result is a leather that transcends the original image of deerskin.
The thick leather is great for aging, as it develops creases on the sleeves and back when worn for a long time.
The thickness can be adjusted from 1.5mm to 0.7mm.
By changing the thickness depending on the item you are making, you can create leather that suits you.
For serious riders, the thickness is 1.6mm to 1.8mm.
For riders for town use, 1.1 to 1.2mm is ideal.
*The riders jacket in the photo uses 1.6mm to 1.8mm fibers.
Of course you can also choose the colour of the leather.
