These setup pants were born from a collaboration with the anime series "Serial Experiments Lain," which symbolizes the theme of AW2026-27.
Inspired by the pajamas worn by Lain in the series, the wiring motif, symbolizing the "connections" expanding across the Wired, is expressed three-dimensionally using lily yarn throughout the pants. "Serial Experiments Lain" is a "21st-century cyberpunk work" that re-examines self and others, and existence itself, in a world where the boundaries between reality and the internet begin to blur.
The structure in which multiple Lains exist simultaneously strongly resonates with this season's theme. The outer fabric is made of wool boa material, which offers both warmth and softness, achieving both comfort and presence as loungewear.
