We've recreated Otomo-sensei's delicate touch using a unique method instead of standard embroidery.
By incorporating intentional glitches into the embroidery data and adding slight variations to the stitch density and direction, we've created differences in shading and three-dimensional texture.
This gives the embroidery, which tends to be flat, a sculptural three-dimensionality, resulting in a garment that feels like it's floating on the fabric, with depth and the atmosphere of the original artwork.
