This reconstructed long coat is made from classic checked tweed, each piece hand-stitched with thread (ha-stitching), a technique unique to SEVESKIG. By deliberately adding frayed or disordered patterns to the orderly traditional patterns, themes such as rules and freedom, completion and incompletion are visualized. All threadwork is done by hand by artisans, resulting in a finished product with individuality and warmth that cannot be achieved through mass production.
