Vol.6 7.SKLLab

This time it's not about leather, but I've been quietly working on my plan to turn my business into an office, shop and showroom, and now I've put it into action, so I wanted to let you all know about it on my blog.
Ever since I started SEVESKIG, I had been planning to create a shop that would serve as a hangout spot where everyone could gather.
After thinking about it a lot since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I decided that if I was going to do it, now was the time, so I asked a friend to help me renovate the place.
Thankfully, I am surrounded by many artists, brands, stylists, craftsmen, and YouTubers who are doing interesting things.
I wanted to create interesting things while having fun with my friends, seniors, and craftsmen, and I wanted to create a space where customers could feel excited when they came in with special orders and where we could talk at leisure, so I decided to set up a store.
The opening is scheduled for early January next year.
The concept is something like this, and I'd like to hold a festival here when we collaborate with various people.
I would like to make this a place that not only sells clothes, but also introduces local folk crafts and items that are linked to the season's concept story.
Construction began on November 9th, and the flooring, which had a typical office feel, was removed in just one day.
①A floor that looks like an office
② After removing the floor, which looks like an office
I am filled with respect and admiration for the craftsmen.

We will also be collaborating to create furniture to put in the shop in the future, so I hope to be able to post updates on the production process on the blog.
By the way, the shop name is "7.SKLLab".
SEVESKIG is an abbreviation for the actual name "SEVEN SEA KINGS LEATHERS".
It is abbreviated to "7.SKL".
I googled SKL to see if it had any meaning, and I found an interesting meaning.
"National Key Laboratory" has a wonderful, urban legend-like meaning.
There is also the conservative Peasants' Party, but I rejected it as it seemed too small and cohesive.
So, we plan to continue doing various fun things so that we can become a laboratory of national importance.
Once the opening date has been decided, we will post it in the NEWS section.
See you later!
