Vol.39 時間と心のゆとりが無く、約2ヶ月Blogお休みしていました、、、

Vol.39 I took a break from blogging for about two months due to lack of time and mental space.

The RFWT broadcast finished successfully on August 30th, and we have now started holding exhibitions, so things are finally starting to calm down in our studio.

I was so busy right up until the start of the exhibition that I didn't realize I had been blogging for two months...

I would like to update my blog with the concepts and contents of these two months and 22SS.

The theme for 2022 S/S is "FAKE NEWS".

"News and information are updated daily on information programs, the internet, and social media.

Fake news is also circulating as if it were real.

Some people are confused and confused by this fake news, and some are hurt by it.

As a result, some people have their human rights violated and even take their own lives.

If all this heartless fake news was just fun fake news, then no one would get hurt and there would be less conflict, wouldn't there?

That is the concept.”

I interpret the news I see every day in my own way, parody it, and turn it into videos and print versions.

News is not just what you see on the surface, it has a hidden side as well, and sometimes it can be unpleasant, and sometimes it can seem fun.

Everyone has their own way of perceiving things.

So this time I'm making a lot of clothes that have two sides to them.

Basically, mass production is also going on at the same time as the exhibition, so the factories and craftsmen who are commissioned to do the work are also overwhelmed, and no one can sew leather samples, so this time I sewed them myself lol

In the back, a pattern maker who has just recovered from an illness is sewing fabric samples.

So anyway, we had two days before the shoot, but we somehow managed to get it together and go on with the shoot.

Filming for the LOOK (stills) also started in the afternoon and lasted for about 12 hours.

I am truly grateful to my wonderful friends.

I made a GIF video using this steel base.

By the way, I did all the editing and VFX for the video myself.

It's been six months since the last shoot.

It's still rough around the edges, but I think I've been able to express what I wanted to do.

The Tendon music this time was produced by FPM senpai!

Although he is very busy with the Olympics and Paralympics, I was really happy that he was willing to accept this assignment.

I only interacted with him as a customer at clubs in my early twenties, so it feels really moving to be able to create something together with him.

We also make a realistic newspaper, and have created a movie based on it.

*If you come to the exhibition, please take it home with you. We have attached AR to the paper, so we think you will enjoy it.

We mixed urban legend-like things into the pages of NEWS, so we had Mr. Urban Legend Seki appear in the opening and closing credits.

I was concentrating on taking pictures so I wasn't able to talk about any urban legends, but thanks to that, the pictures came out pretty good.

MOVIE STORY

One day in 2035, Seki, an employee of a space debris cleanup company, was suddenly hit by a strong space wind (solar wind) during an extravehicular activity, and the safety tether connecting his waist tether snapped, throwing him into space. Seki, who was swept away to the planet ROSS128b, continued to send out attention-grabbing fake news so that people would find him. The inside of Seki's head, where he fantasizes about writing news articles while typing away, is visualized in 3D space.

This season, we have collaborated with Koto Tsumi on a new project.

I really like the city pop-like illustrations from the 80s and 90s, so I contacted him.

As many of you may already know, he is an illustrator of unknown age and gender, and he draws illustrations based on the concept that he can only draw girls and beautiful people.

This time, to express the opacity of its existence, we layered a translucent fabric with a fabric printed with Koto's archive illustrations in various places, using a gimmick that allows the illustrations to appear and disappear.

When the fabric arrived, the image looked really good, so even though there wasn't much time left until the exhibition, we took the drastic step of quickly adding more items...

I am truly grateful to the factory for accommodating this request.

I have a habit of putting it on as soon as the fabric comes up.

From here, various images emerge.

Since I can only draw girls, I had the models look mostly female.

The last one is a boy

This has gotten quite long again, so I'll upload the second half when I have time.

There's an interesting feature here, so after scanning the QR code, try pointing your phone at the image below.

See you later!
