Last weekend we had our biannual order meeting with a wholesaler in Fukuoka, and this weekend we have an order meeting in Toyota City.
Once this is over, the long exhibition month will also be over.
This time, the COVID-19 state of emergency was extended, and the exhibition was forced to be extended by two weeks.
Every day there are reports in the news that make it unclear whether the state of emergency has been lifted or not, but I think it's not good for a country to be so unclear.
There's so much boring news every day that it's almost like I'm not having fun...
In this article, I would like to introduce the products and brand "Six coup de foudre", which is our first collaboration.
"Six couples of four"
We were actually classmates in school, and I hadn't seen each other since our one year in the same year. However, we happened to meet again by chance when I went to an exhibition of an acquaintance in Paris.
Since then, we've had them come to our exhibitions on a number of occasions and visited our store, and we've been saying "I'd like to do a collaboration someday," which has finally come to fruition with 21AW.
He himself operates a sewing machine and is very knowledgeable about the background and situation of game meat.
Above all, their attitude towards leather is worthy of respect.
I make accessories and tableware using game leather (from vermin and wild birds), and I'm always amazed at what can be done with leather, and a little jealous lol.
It shows hunters exterminating vermin and, of course, also visiting the butchering site, so I would definitely recommend watching this movie.
The video clearly shows how the leather is harvested, who harvests it, and how it is processed.
The feelings of the creator.
Here are some photos of the items he has made using leather from SEVESKIG.
This season's first frog purse bag made from Ezo bear (brown bear).
When making jackets, there are inevitably scraps of material, and I feel bad about throwing them away, so
This piece was commissioned to be produced by "Six coup de foudre" .
The lining is made from vintage bed sheets.
We have larger sizes available as well as smaller sizes that can fit a cell phone and card case.
Although Ezo bear hair is coarse, it feels softer than deer hair and is less likely to break or cut.
The fur is tanned, but I think some hair will fall out as you use it.
By the way, this fur was donated to me as something that was to be used as a stuffed animal.
A frog-purse bag made from Ezo bear leather.
This was also made using scrap wood.
I'm currently looking into collecting smaller items and trying to make something with them.
The lining of this one is also made from a vintage bed sheet.
This season's sample is a frog-mouth handbag made from leftover full vegetable steer suede leather.
It also comes with a shoulder strap.
Fringe sold separately.
This is what it looks like when you remove the fringe.
It is a unisex bag.
These are models with very strong images.
The lining is made from Irish linen souvenir tapestries that I have been collecting.
I think this is Charles.
A frog-purse shoulder bag made from the same leather.
It is sized to fit an IPAD MINI.
The lining is made of Irish linen.
This is also a mouton bag made using scraps of American mouton.
The reverse side is made of nappa ran, so there is no lining.
This is a small type of shoulder bag.
Please use it when you go out for a short while.
The lineup is as follows:
We hope to be able to propose products that make effective use of scrap materials to customers who place special orders in the future.
Wouldn't you be excited if there were accessories made from the same leather and parts as garments?
Actual samples will be on display at "7.SKL Lab", so please come and see them.
Also, the "Six coup de foudre" shop, "To Kawa" , has a lot of interesting items on display, so be sure to stop by.

I think you will be greeted by the owner and designer, Takamizawa-kun, who has a similar vibe to me.
He is knowledgeable about leather, and more than anything, I think he is extremely knowledgeable about game meat.
I think it's worth going just to hear such stories.
We are also thinking about planning a collaborative event together, so we will announce it once it has been decided to be held.
See you later!
