Vol.22 7.SKL Lab's first appearance at Tokyo Fashion Week, exhibitions, etc.
Last week, I was so busy with various preparations and the exhibition that I neglected to blog for the first time...
Thanks to you, the opening reception for "7.SKL Lab" was successfully completed and the exhibition is progressing smoothly.
My seniors and friends also sent flowers to decorate the entrance to make it feel like an opening.
This time, we had hamburgers catered by "THE GREAT BURGER".
It's smaller than the ones served in restaurants and can be eaten quickly, but the meat is juicy and the bun is fluffy.
I ate one after I was done, and I don't think it's easy to find a hamburger that's still tasty even when it's cold.
I'm looking forward to doing a gibier burger collaboration.
Due to the state of emergency declaration, there are fewer people in Harajuku, but this is still a famous restaurant that sees queues on holidays.
If you come to Harajuku, be sure to stop by.
Even in these difficult times, I'm really glad that so many seniors, press representatives, and friends came together to do this.
Also appearing was KEN KEN, who was in charge of the sound for the movie at this Tokyo Collection.
It's rare for him to come out in such a public place, since he's such a homebody.
He came quickly, chatted for a while, and then quickly left.
We will do something fun together again, so I will post it on the blog.

This Monday I had the opportunity to participate in Tokyo Collection for the first time.
On the day, the film was shown live to the press on the 8th floor of Shibuya Hikarie, and after the show there was a press conference, which is something I'm least fond of.
I'm really good at talking to people, but when there are a lot of people, I can't speak at once...
I ended up feeling the same way this time, and I was only able to say 1/100 of what I wanted to say.
Next time I'll leave it all to Haku, the overseas marketing specialist.
I think that everyone reading this blog has seen the 21-22 A/W movie.
The concept this time was that a mannequin who was bored by the coronavirus would escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature, and then once the coronavirus calmed down, we would return to our daily lives.
I was a little worried about whether a common concept would work, but now I just wanted to convey my honest feelings, and after discussing it with the director and stylist, I think we were able to create an interesting presentation.
Some of you may be wondering what 2D graphics are suddenly appearing in the video, but those graphics are actually graphics from TAKAGI KOICHIRO and TEXTA8000, who are collaborating in this COLLECTION, that were edited in.
The concept was conveyed to each artist around October last year and they created the graphics, which are full of various thoughts about the relationship between humans and animals, how we could all be happier if we were a little more like this, and the idea that humans are animals too, after all.
As I wrote in the episode about game leather, it also incorporates the concept of not wasting death.
Putting a deer on model SHIN's face
I changed Hazuki-chan's face to a brown bear.
I made Hayashi-kun's face into a tiger.
Adult silkworms swarm around LAZIMA-chan.
We also infested LORAILOS with adult silkworms.
I edited it however I like.
It was a new discovery for me to discover that by turning graphics into animation, so much more meaning can be added to images.
I have also solidified the concept for my next performance, so I hope to be able to show another interesting video or a physical show.
Once again, our stylist, Momo-kun, was in charge of everything.
I truly appreciate it.

Having participated in Tokyo Collection this time, I was asked to do an interview with FAHION SNAP, and the writer wrote down almost exactly what I said, about the things I always think about, why I make leather, why vegan leather is sustainable, do you know what true ethics are, and so on.
The first batch of bear leather had just arrived, so this is a picture I took of them showing off.
I was actually planning to talk about the concept of 21-22 A/W, but the editor asked me, "Is there any problem with working with leather now?" and that got me in the mood.
People who work with game leather will probably understand this, but I told them something that most people don't know.

This one is just a ready-made customization, so it's not that fun.
But there's no doubt that it's the best companion for riding!
By the way, I think the story was a bit misleading, but Gonta (a melon) was kept by my grandfather, who lived in a village on the outskirts of Oita, but I lived in Oita City, so he wasn't nearby when I hunted Gonta, and so I didn't eat him.
