Vol.40 展示会終了しました
皆様ご無沙汰しております。
展示会にかまけてBLOG更新していませんでした。。
お陰様で展示会、各地方受注会は多くの方に来場いただいて、面白そうなお話も色々いただけました。
会期中の土、日曜にFRIENDS DAYを設けているのですが、過去最多の160名の方に来場いただきました。
思い返してみると暇な日があまり無かったかなと。
毎回そうなのですが、暇だなと思っていても、一人お客さんが来るとどどっと人が来るんですよね。
あれって何かのバイオリズムが働いているのかなとか思っちゃいます。
対応するのが僕とパタンナーの2人、たまに海外マーケティングのハクの3人なんですが、沢山の方が一気に来るとテンパってワチャワチャしちゃってましたw
特に先輩方と、卸先さんがバッティングした時とか、芸能関係の人と、先輩がバッティングした時とか、てんてこ舞いですよね。。
あまりお話し出来なかった関係者の皆様申し訳ありませんでした。
来期のテーマが"FAKE NEWS"だったんですけど、会場内に配布用のタブロイド紙を置いていました。
内容はほぼFAKE NEWSなんですが、実際近い将来に起りうる様な内容で構成していました。
あと各ページにARを設けて、その紙面でLOOKが見れるといった仕掛けをしていました。

お礼と告知はこんな感じで、21AW秋冬物が本格的に始動したので、ちょっとずつ商品のご案内をしていきたいと思います。
今回は21AWでヒット商品になった、カウチンの紹介をしたいと思います。
BLOGを読んでくれている方なら、僕のビンテージ好きは伝わっていると思いますが、ローゲージのニットも様々なビンテージを所有しています。
有名な物だと、ラルフローレンの奥さんのブランドでローレンと言うブランドがあります。（今もあるのかな？？）
80年代、90年代が多いと思うのですが、ローゲージの手編みの豹柄、虎柄、チマヨ柄、等魅力的な商品が多いですね。
自分の所有しているニットの写真撮ってこなかったので、webから拝借しました。。
いっときキムタクとか、EXILEとかが着て爆発的に値段が上がって古着屋さんからも影を潜めていました。
今は忘れ去られたのか、ちょくちょく古着屋でも見かけるようになってきました。
20代中盤の頃に、当時勤めていた会社の先輩が着ていて、こんな美しい手編み出来るんだと感心してがむしゃらに集めていました。
基本的に家にある古着は売ったりしないので、ずっと溜まっていく一方なんですw
”longing of the Usual/普通に憧れる”が21AWのテーマ。
日常がコロナで脅かされ、普通の生活が出来なくなったなって考えていて、自分の普通ってなんなんだろうと考える事が多かったんです。
そこから高校生の頃から変わらず好きな物、アメカジが自分の普通だなって思って、21AWはアメカジに極振りしました。
ビンテージだと着づらい部分が多々あると思うのですが、そこを解消して商品化したいなと。
基本に戻って色々試行錯誤して商品を構成しました。
今までにもニットは毎シーズン商品化してきたのですが、もっとリアルアメカジな感じで、かつ着心地がいい物作りを心がけました。
伸びてもカッコ良く着れる物とか。
そんな所を考慮して、今回はメリノウール100%の糸を使用しました。
メリノウールはメリノ種って言う種類の羊の毛なんですが、スケール（繊維のヒダみたいな物）が通常より多く、熱を逃さず保温してくれる特徴があります。
ゲージも極限まで太くしたので、きっと真冬でも対応できるだろうなと思っています。
ローゲージだと柄の表現が難しく、柄の部分は全て手刺しになってしまいました。。
でも手刺しにしたお陰でビンテージ感はうまく出せたかなと思っています。
カラーの糸は杢糸になっていて、交編している糸で全体的な色が微妙なムラ感になっています。
その辺りも古っぽい感じを醸し出していますね。
モチーフは蝦夷熊とシャケです。
クマといえばシャケですよねw
北海道の熊の木彫り展にいったのを思い出しました。
目黒のクラスカが閉店する間際で、一度木彫りアーティストの本気の作品見たいなと思って行った気がします。
スペシャルオーダーで蝦夷熊に触れる事が多かったのと、毛皮のタンナーさんに出入りしていた事もあって完全にそっちに引っ張られていましたね。
蝦夷熊と言えば、北海道の固有種で、北海道と言えばアイヌ。
アイヌの事は結構慎重に扱わないと色々大変らしいのですが、先住民族をリスペクトし、袖、身頃にアイヌ紋様をあしらっています。
もっともアイヌ民族の中では蝦夷熊は神様の扱いだったらしく、その共通点もあって柄を使わさせて貰いました。
企画を考えている時に、アイヌの展覧会を開催していて、それを見に行って感動したせいもあります。
やはり祖先は大切にして行くべきだと思います。
ちなみにうちの犬は”レタラ”と言う名前なんですが、アイヌ語で白を意味する言葉です。
そんな感じで勝手に親近感を沸かせていたりもしますw
とこんな感じで過去最高にイメージ通り仕上がったカウチンなので、是非皆さんに見て貰いたいと思います。
