PT-SV-NNS-1005 / SUIKA & TIGER ALOHA SHORT PANTS

First collaboration shorts with "NIPOALOHA".

The base is rayon cut jacquard, a specialty of SEVESKIG, printed with ukiyo-e, a specialty of NIPOALOHA.

A summery design features a watermelon by Katsushika Hokusai, and a tiger by Kuwagata Keisai on the cut jacquard background.

I chose Kuwagata Keisai's tiger because of the saying, "Hate Hokusai, Love Keisai."

It seems that at that time, Keisai was more beloved by Edoites than Hokusai.
